Our take on the Classic Gel type Water Based Pomade. Scented in our Signature “Day Drinking” Scent, this pomade will give you a medium shine and an all-day fixed, heavy hold. This Pomade sets up hard once it dries and can be restyled with a small amount of water.  Great for side parts and tighter slick backs.

Day Drinking Scent:

Top notes of rum, bergamot, lime, and apple blended with notes of plum, orange flower and anise; all finished with light base notes of amber, patchouli and tobacco.

Directions:

Starting with towel dried hair, Scoop a generous amount of pomade into the palm of your hand. Rub palms together and apply pomade evenly through hair. If needed, apply another scoop. Use a comb or brush to style hair. Blow dry or air dry for an all-day hold. Completely washes out with just water.

Ingredients:

Up front, the “DAY DRINKING” scent of this pomade is mind boggling! Fresh, sweet with a side of a deeper personality.

Here is the breakdown:

TOP: Rum, Bergamot, Lime, Apple
MIDDLE: Plum, Orange Flower, Anise
BASE: Amber, Patchouli, Tobacco

In clean and dry hair, I took about the size of a Canadian quarter and blend it in. In many ways, this feels more like a classic pomade than what you might have to come to expect from the modern water based pomades.

It feels like a smooth classic pomade to the touch. Not so jelly like.
It is incredibly easy to relax and blend in. Styling was a breeze and it has some unexpected level of shine.

The product quantity to hold ratio threw me off a little. To style my pump I used about the size of a Canadian quarter. It looked and felt like that was sufficient, but within about 1½ hour my hair was starting to fall out of place. Very much like old-school grease which remains workable, as does this pomade.

Being a lazy styler I don’t like recombing too often, so I took another dab and blend it in. This kept me going for the rest of the day. Basically, I needed to double the amount of product.

On a scale of 5, here is the score card:

Hold: 4
Scent: 5++
Shine: 4
Texture: 5
Feel in hair: 5
Facility to wash out: 5+

TAKEAWAY:
• Delicious Scent
• Classic Vibe
• Washes out better than most big brand water based pomades
• Takes a bit more than usual to hold my mope together
